Vitamine B5
Vitamine B5
:Description :D-calcium pantothenate: minimum 98% of activity.
Properties :Pantothenic acid, or Vitamin B5, is found in two enzymes, coenzyme A and the acyl carrier protein, which are involved in many reactions in the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and proteins.
Requirements :Although this vitamin is found in practically all feeds, the quantity is generally insufficient for optimum levels of production in poultry, pigs and other monogastric species. No cases of deficiency have been described for adult ruminants, due to the synthesis of this vitamin by microorganisms in the rumen.
Target species :Poultry, pigs and ruminants.
